Comparison of Integrated Neuromuscular Inhibition Technique versus Myofascial Release of Upper Trapezius on Neck Range of Motion and Dysfunction in Individuals with Nonspecific Neck Pain

Background: Nonspecific Neck Pain is caused by assumption of faulty neck posture for prolonged period time,resulting in overuse Upper Trapezius and development Trigger Points the muscle. This study evaluatedthe effect Integrated Neuromuscular Inhibition Technique Myofascial Release on NeckRange Motion Dysfunction individuals with Pain.Materials Method: Based Inclusion Exclusion criteria 60 nonspecific pain agegroup 25-40 years were assessed & selected purposive sampling informed consent taken. The subjectswere divided into three groups 20 each. Group A (Control Group) was given Conventional treatment as HotPack over muscle mobility exercises. Thereafter B (Experimental 1)received C (ExperimentalGroup 2) subjects total6 sessions 3 a week 2 weeks respectively. Pretest Post test data evaluatedfor Range using Universal Goniometer Disability Indexrespectively. collected, compiled analyzed.Results: There significant differences pre post scores (INIT) (MFR) whenpaired t-test applied. However, (control group) didn’t show any improvement significantly. Whenthese are compared unpaired t-test, all showed differences. demonstrated moreimprovement than A. Whereas, when compared, Cshowed A.Conclusion: concluded that better MyofascialRelease improving Individuals withNonspecific Pain.
